Vanessa is a third-year student at the University of Waterloo double majoring in Actuarial Science and Statistics. She currently serves as the President at the UW Actuarial Science Club and has worked at Canada Life and Sun Life. Having attended two ASNA conventions, with one in-person and one virtual, she now holds the position of Vice-President of Finance and is focused on budget planning and financial decision-making contingent on the form of the convention this year. She hopes to assist the team to bring another year of excellence to students and employers.
In her spare time, Vanessa enjoys baking and reading mystery novels. She is also a big fan of Brooklyn 99. She cannot wait for this year’s participants to experience what the team has planned!
