ANEA-ASNA 2022 Convention

The 2022 Convention Committee is proud to present the 32nd annual ANÉA-ASNA Actuarial Science Conference. For the past thirty-one years, our actuarial community of academics, professionals and industry leaders have come together for North America’s largest Actuarial job convention known as the “ANÉA-ASNA Convention”. The convention is the only time of year where Canada’s brightest actuarial talent gathers to an outstanding venue to network, interview, and talk actuarial. It is a special event that neither an actuarial firm nor a student would want to miss.

Location

ANÉA-ASNA 2022 will take place in Toronto, ON. Toronto is Canada’s largest city, the fourth largest in North America, and home to a diverse population of approximately 3 million people.

Toronto is a world leader in such areas as business, finance, technology, entertainment, and culture. Its large population of immigrants from all over the globe has also made Toronto one of the most multicultural cities in the world.

CN Tower

Toronto’s famous landmark, the 553-meter CN Tower, is one of the city’s most famous attractions and impossible to miss. Towering above the downtown, this Canadian icon can be seen from almost everywhere in the city. You can appreciate the building from the ground, take a trip up to one of the observation areas or restaurants for fabulous views over the city and Lake Ontario. 

Royal Ontario Museum

The Royal Ontario Museum (also known as the ROM) is an esteemed exhibition located in Toronto. It houses one of the finest collections in the world which includes natural history, art, and culture from a myriad of periods in history across the world. Distillery District of Toronto

The Distillery District of Toronto is a restored historic area that has been transformed into a trendy shopping and entertainment region. Charming boutiques, galleries, artists’ studios, and restaurants fill the old buildings.

Yonge Dundas Square

Located in the heart of Toronto, this area is known for its neon lights and fun atmosphere. It’s also a great place to gather with friends and observe the busy night life of Toronto. This neon lit public space is fashioned after New York’s Times Square and is a popular gathering spot for Torontonians. Yonge Dundas Square is best enjoyed in the evening when the flashing neon signs come to life.
